SCOPE OF WORK

This client was operating in two separate, but adjoining buildings. The renovation project was initiated to merge all services and employees into one location. The 62,214-square-foot, two-story building had relocated a dry bench electronics lab space to the first floor and the increased personnel on the second floor with no lab space available.

VALUE DELIVERED

The site was fully occupied for the duration of the project. Construction had to be broken into phases to schedule all shutdowns after operating hours to ensure minimal disruption to the occupants. These scheduled shut downs allowed the labs to be functional while a new fly wheel UPS was installed. Participation in design meetings allowed our team to share methods to make it possible to fit a new server room in an area with limited space.

SOLUTIONS

Upgraded lighting and controls were installed throughout the office space; along with new emergency power, life safety and fire suppression controls for the labs and server room.
