University of California San Diego Pacific Hall, SAN DIEGO, CA
SCOPE OF WORK
Pacific Hall is seven-story, 200,000-square-foot science facility on the University of California, San Diego campus.
It is home to research in chemistry and biochemistry, including nanotechnology, the photophysics of nanophase materials, medical applications of nanotube materials and thermal response of porous Si-based vapor sensors.
It includes a small molecule x-ray facility. Over 80% of the project is laboratory space with extensive use of Isoduct. This project required constant coordination with all of the subcontractors due to an open ceiling construction method.
