Grossmont Hospital, SAN DIEGO, CA

SCOPE OF WORK

This project consists of a 5-story, 163,620 square-foot addition (with partial basement) to the existing Grossmont Hospital. The addition includes a new Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit and a partial utility basement.

Also included was a remodel of the existing hospital and modifications of the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and central plant. This project combined the use of medium-voltage distribution and four parallel generators for emergency power.

Dynalectric’s scope of work included total electrical, fire alarm, life safety, nurse call, master clock, security, power generation, public address, CCTV and MATV systems.
