SCOPE OF WORK

Dynalectric San Diego recently completed work on the UCSD Thornton Hospital Cardiovascular Center. This is a 127,000 square-foot, four-story stand alone hospital. The facility consists of three operating rooms, one hybrid operating room, three catheterization laboratories, two floors of patient beds, a digital radiology center, a CT room, emergency room, pre/post operating day bed area and administrative offices.

The scope of work for Dynalectric San Diego included: total electrical, high-voltage systems, tel-data communications, power generation, lighting control and public address. This project required OSHPD approval and BIM coordination of complex electrical systems.

Dynalectric San Diego utilized integrated project delivery with DPR Construction, and other project partners, to produce the highest quality facility within the time parameters outlined by the owner. This project received LEED Silver status.
