Courtyard by Marriott, SAN DIEGO, CA
SCOPE OF WORK
Originally built in 1926, this 15-story San Diego Trust and Savings Bank building was reborn as a 246 room “Courtyard by Marriott”. This building is listed on the historical register which mandated design approval by the Historical Society. The project was a design/build for all trades. The ornate lobby is outfitted with gothic marble columns, arches and antique brass hardware and fixtures, all of which were restored for the new design. The vaults in the basement were also restored to serve as meeting space in the new hotel.
