SCOPE OF WORK

The Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel rises 32 stories above the edge of the San Diego Bay. The 1,007,118 square-foot hotel resides on a 12.8 acre site that includes a 4.3 acre public park.

The hotel consists of 1,190 guest rooms including 30 luxury suites with state-of-the-art technology. The balance of the hotel totals nearly 500,000 square-feet of public space including the Grand and Junior Ballrooms, thirty four meeting rooms, two restaurants, a cocktail and wine bar, a full spa with complete workout facility, a bayside pool with snack bar, a Starbucks Coffee and a Fox Sports Grill.

Dynalectric Company was responsible for every electrical connection on the project including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarm, tele-data communications, CATV, security/CCTV, audio visual and HVAC/DDC controls.

The electrical distribution system consists of three 4,000 amp services with a 1.5 megawatt diesel generator alone with a UPS system to provide emergency and standby power.
