House of Blues, SAN DIEGO, CA

SCOPE OF WORK

House of Blues is the 30,000 square-foot occupant of the historical three-story Woolsworth building, near Fifth Avenue and C Street, in downtown San Diego.

Construction of this project involved extensive structural renovation of the existing building prior to the House of Blues specific renovations.

Some challenges of this job were the implementation of an effective site management plan designed to safely revitalize a mid-rise structure between two historic facades in a dense downtown district. The House of Blues renovation was fast tracked from permitting in December 2004 to opening in May 2005.
