SCOPE OF WORK

Oberon Fuels is the first producer of fuel-grade dimethyl ether (DME) in North America. This project involved new construction of the pilot plant for Oberon’s production of DME. Dynalectric built the electrical backbone for this pilot plant.

VALUE DELIVERED

Dynalectric was the co-prime contractor on this job with PMC. The services provided include electrical and control connection between the owner-supplied process skids and outside boundary limit equipment.

SOLUTIONS

Dynalectric worked closely with the Oberon Fuels and the local power utility company to overcome time constraint issues with the project. This project was completed on time and within budget.

BACKGROUND

Oberon Fuels works with Dimethyl Ether (DME), a clean-burning, non-toxic potentially renewable fuel. Through this pilot plant they are working to bring this technology to North America with their proprietary process.
